Description gtg261s 2003-09-09 23:17:16 UTC
Version: v0.8.3 (using KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r2, propolice)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22

Kget gives me a malformed url error when I try to download the linux preview of main actor from www.mainconcept.com. When I disable integration with konqueror I am able to download the file fine (without using kget).

Does it say what URL it is? It works just fine for me (current CVS version).

another url not working in kget, but in mozilla yes:
http://www.jetools.com/downloadhandler?prodid=databrowser&version=3.2.1&format=other%
2Fdatabrowser.jar

I think this is the same problem I have encountered. If you try to download a spoofed file name (download foo.txt as bar.txt) through a php page, then kget fails with "malformed url." It does not seem to respect the Content-Disposition header. (I got very confused writing a page to do just this - it worked in Mozilla, Opera and even IE - just not in Konq until kget intergration disabled)
