The slider bars seem to count to the usable Window size when a Page is rendered so if you have a Page with floating text the last characters of most lines are under the vertical slider bar.

It should be no great change to scale the page only to the visible window size.

Fixed already, please check whether SuSE has any updated RPMs -- I think they 
do.
