Version: any (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-0.13mdk

Here is two interresting idea, IMHO,....

1 - a kicker applet which display random kanji with english definition.
Which could also allow to decompose the kanji randomly shown....
Which could also allow search (by english word, or by strokes)

2 - a screensaver which display random kanji.

Those ideas could help a lot to learn kanji.

Just added Neil, since I know he is interrested by kiten and he already made a
screensaver.

feel free to remove your self.

sorry for that shameless invitation.

These are both nice ideas, but I think they should come after the
eternally-planned breakup of Kiten into a dictionary library, a dictionary UI,
and a learning UI.

1. kanatest and maybe (but probably not) the in kiten -> Learn mentioned parley and anki
2. kanjisaver may be the package you are locking for
