Not very important but eye candy feature :
- Allow to set animated gif or mng as Desktop background.
- And allow to use XFishTank (and other same programs) as background.
Actually we just can have a program than return a picture every 5 minutes (for example).
But programs as XFishTank doesn't return and can't take owning the desktop.
This feature could be great to have an REAL ACTIVE html page (and not a capture), as 'Active Desktop' in another OS.
Perhapse in KDE4 ?

I'm marking this as a dup of #149863 which is more recent and it could be interesting for plasma. Its development should satisfy this request too.

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
