Version: 1.5.2 (using KDE KDE 3.1.2) Installed from: Compiled From Sources OS: Linux The structure-tree doesn't disregard elements in the document that have been commented out using the % sign. For example: I still get a subsection called foo if I have this line in my document: %subsection*{foo) Everything behind a % is a comment, so it should not end up in the tree.
