the display area and rendering area should be the same. currently a page seems to be rendered to window size (including scrollbar). if the right scrollbar is displayed, it covers that part of the page. the effect is, that you always have a bottom scrollbar. a very simple page showing this:

resize the window to any size, you are always able to scroll left right, just the right scrollbars size, i.e. 0.5 cm.
