Description Aaron Thoreson 2003-08-15 23:41:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

I have changed the handler in KDE to open URLs with Mozilla, which works flawlessly. However, clicking on ftp hyperlnks still opens a Konqueror window, instead of the application I've associated urls with.

Does one have to define a new type under the 'File Associations' or is there another method?

KMail opens any URLs with "new KRun( url );". This is the standard KDE way to
do it. I'll reassign this bug report to the right product.

This seems to be a bug not a wish and it is for ftp. (Probably the same kind of problems that has appear in fish and sftp .)

This is not a kio_ftp bug.
