Hello Navin and Gunnar, I agree with and support Navin's wish concerning controlling mouse pointer movement with the keyboard, with Shift (making it slower) and Ctrl (making it faster). However, in KDE 4.5.3, mouse emulation seems rather messy with possibly two mouse emulation methods in conflict with each other. On one hand you have the emulation in System Settings -> Input Devices -> Mouse -> Mouse Navigation, where you move the mouse pointer with the numeric keypad, and on the other you have an emulation switched on by pressing Alt+F12, where you move the mouse pointer with the arrow keys. I would suggest deleting the latter method and keeping and developing the former. I would also like to suggest making Num0 work as right click since Num5 already works as left click. Regards, Magnus Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you! |
