titlebar with question marks
This problem has been reported many times, e.g. as in bug 24834. Another bug included a comment that this problem can be solved by setting values for LC_CTYPE and LANG prior to starting KDE. I can confirm this. If I set "export LANG=fa_IR.UTF-8" this problem seems to be gone. But as the problem occurs in two window titlebars only, at least as far as I can see, I considered it a bug and hence worth reporting. You should have proper locale env. variables set while running KDE, as it's used also for sorting etc. The thing you consider a bug has been fixed in Qt-3.2. OK. Thanks for the info. |
