Indeed - I've always found this silly (especially because the LAN browser uses the same icon as the network tab). Update for KDE 4: LAN browser seems to be gone. The network sidebar is pretty much unchanged otherwise. I agree that the default entries seem strange; in a way they're just examples of what one can put in there. Maybe it should show the same as dolphin's Network places shows, instead. @David: it could be an idea :-) |
