hi,
it looks, that it is not possible. The username/password is for the ftp
like, transport protocol. The only way is, to use the hylafax client
protocol without a local hylafax installation :-/.

I don't know where the FTP protocol appear, but certainly not
in kdeprintfax. Keep in mind that this is just a graphical
interface around a command-line utility like Hylafax, EFax or
mgetty+sendfax. It builds a command line from the information
you provided and executes it in a child process. If you need
a password somewhere at a lower level, then I would say either
configure your fax system to use it automatically, or find a
way to put that password in the "sendfax" command and edit
the command used in the kdeprintfax options dialog.

ok, there is no suitable way to solve this problem. The only way is to allow per IP/Network in hylafax's hosts.conf. thanks :-) Closing old Resolved status bug. |
