Description Hauke Laging 2003-08-02 15:56:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Hello,

if a poster has required an email copy KNode pops up a window informing about this and opens a KMail (or maybe whatever) window immediately after clicking OK.

This does not make much sense in my opinion because then there are two non-linked windows with text though both are to contain the same text - in the end.

I would like to suggest the following behaviour:

- Show the current information box but *ask* if the user wants to send an email, too, at all.

- If so (and only then), add the line "published as news and email" (or whatever that may be in the Engish version ;-) ) and when the user clicks the send button then - and not before - open the KMail window with the final message.

That should be a very little change in the code. In the easiest way you should simply have to move this one if-statement from opening window to closing window. OK, just a non-programmer guess :)

[Mass change for wishlist between year 2002 and 2003] KNode is no longer maintained.
