Description david 2003-08-01 13:19:48 UTC
Version: v0.8.3 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 20030722 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21

So it seems konqueror by default uses kget when i select to save a file. This is fine..

But well - what exactly does kget do?..

It'd be nice if their was some good documentation explaining what kget is, what it does, etc.

Two things that confuse me a lot are:
- Whats that kdrop window thing for? The 'whats this' help link on the kdrop show button doesn't really tell me anything.
- The old style download, where I used to have a window for each download.. Was that kget? If so, can I get a window for each download back?..

Anyway, I think you get the idea - I'd like some more docu for kget.. It seems like a wonderful app, I just don't really know where to start with it.

Thanks heaps
