Description C. Laurence Gonsalves 2003-07-31 20:56:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

In many other terms (rxvt, xterm, etc.) you can set a cursor color. Konsole seems to make the cursor the forground color of whatever character cell its in, which is sometimes really annoying. I'd like to be able to tell konsole to always use a particular color for the cursor (and I'd like this to be specified in RGB, so I can make the cursor's color something that the text and background can't become)

Yes, good idea. I am used to my xemacs cursor being red,
it does help with eye tracking.

Implemented in KDE 4. Both KDE 3 behaviour and a custom cursor color are available options.
