I made a two mistakes in the first description of the bug. Selecting "Rename Session..." from the context pop-up menu does not result in the mouse pointer disappearing. Additionally, the problem is not a result of renaming the session, but rather open the "Rename Session" dialog via the key stroke "Alt+Ctrl+S". When pressing any key the mouse pointer hides (a normal feature when typing in Konsole), and this is true when pressing "Alt+Ctrl+S" to rename the session. However, even if the Cancel button is pressed in the dialog, the mouse pointer does return from hiding. I hope this is clear. I did discover how to make the mouse pointer appear once again in the text region of the session. If a new session is created by clicking on the "New" button in the toolbar, the cursor once again becomes visible in the session's text region. Can't reproduce with KDE 3.1.3, most likely thanks to autohide cursor fixes in kdelibs. |
