Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from:    Debian stable Packages

with tar (restore) works it properly, the system is debian (woody) with kde 3.1.2

Kdat is not developed and mantained anymore. All Kdat bugs are closed with the status "unmantained".
