Installed from:    Gentoo

I am requesting the above for MSN, but all protocols supporting file transfer would be good.  It would be nice to be able to specify a default directory, perhaps optionally appending the senders name to the directory somewhere.

Also, allowing only certain contacts to get auto-accepted would be an advantage.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
