Description David M. Dickerson 2003-07-06 07:18:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

I am running KDE 3.1.1 with SuSE Linux 8.2 Professional.

Earlier versions of the KDE Control Panel had options to change the "Horizontal Root Grid Spacing" and the "Vertical Root Grid Spacing," but I find that I can change only the icon size in KDE 3.1.1, but not the space between the desktop icons. The option for changing grid spacing no longer appears to exist in KDE.

I would like to ability to change the grid size so that I can have less space between icons when I resize them below the 48-pixel default. (Resizing icons is easy through the KDE Control Panel and gives me no problems.)

Thank you for considering this feature request.

Done in CVS (using the config file) and I will add the option in the GUI, too.
