Description Christian Banik 2003-07-04 01:26:08 UTC
Version: 0.7.2 (using KDE 3.1.1)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.2
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

When I want to subscribe to new groups, I see that I cannot use wildcards like "*" intuitively like I would use them in a shell.

E.g. I look for "de.soc.m", it gives me three newsgroups. Looking for "de.soc.m*" gives me 44 (all of de.soc).

I would like to see wildcards implemented which makes me able to search for something like dsu (as an abbreviation for de.soc.umwelt). Looking for "dsu" gives me no results, looking for "d*s*u*" gives me all newsgroups back.
