In my xterm, there are no colours in man's output. It would seem that xterm is colourising attributes like bold or underline. Could that be the case? that would be nonsense. Then xterm wouldn't be standard conform. My man in xterm isn't colourful either. asked a MDK using developer - there is no colour in xterm either. Xterm does indeed colorise the bold/underlines. This is true in both Mandrake and Redhat (at least, on my systems, as per default installs). I agree that it's not "standard", but it might be a nice option to add. That's really all I wanted to request. Richard |
