Description Chris Horn 2003-06-28 00:03:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
OS: Linux

I couldn't find a duplicate wish request (I did look), although I saw mention that there was such a wish already out there. It would be nice if you could change the default sort order for folders - as well as set the sort order for all folders in one fell swoop.

Furthermore kmail sometimes looses the sort order and sorts by date (order of arrival) which is quite annoying.

This functionnality would be very nice to get out of that mess.

I second this wish. I would like to specify a global sort ordering as well.

Thanks!

I join this wish too. I'd vote for!

Any chance this will get into KDE 4?

In KMail starting with KDE 4.2, you can configure global and per-folder sort-orders, although the UI for that is a bit clumsy.
