Juk will not detect if a file has been added/deleted from a directory or if it was renamed by any other method than by the app itself. Old or new files  can not be manually added to or deleted from the main playlist once it has been generated. The app must shutdown and restarted to register the changes.

The CVS version uses KDirWatcher to notice when files are added and removed.
