I can only write my complete home-directory into a crypto-file, when I mount it while boot time, this means before KDM appears. This is not comfortable. It would be very very nice when this could be done instantly when the user has passed KDM by giving his (or her) login. Perhaps it would be possible to create a nice KDE-Program wich starts immediately after a user logged in and before any files from the home directory are read. This way, it could be very easy to manage completely encrypted home directories which are saved in a crypto file or partition.
The reason for this wish is simple: I do not want to see a thieve when booting the machine that there are hidden crypted directories. SuSE always asks for mounting crypto devices while boot time - every thieve immediately sees that there _are_ hidden files :( . Perhaps there should be a KDE-Version of mount & losetup which let's generally mount crypted filesystems with a nice GUI Password-Box?

I use encrypted file systems on my notebook to hide personal files (partitions and cryptofiles). 
Currently, I always have to mount the encrypted filesystems on CLI, because I have no 
possibility to do that with a nice eye-candy dialog. Perhaps there would be a possibility to 
make changes on the program losetup and/or mount, so mounting crypto devices and the 
password question could be asked in a nice KDE-like dialog instead on the command line

Same thing as with #59810: you can use the already well-known session scripts to 
do that. Some of those are even run with root privileges.
