Description Andrea Bergia 2003-06-14 16:09:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

When I click on Build-> Install (as root user), the dialog (created with kdesu, AFAIK) doesn't allow to remember the root password. But it's not launched with the -n switch on, so why does it happens? I use a recent CVS snapshot of all KDE (so, too kdelibs). Can you allow it to remember the password? Thanks.
Anyway: you make a great job!

This one is a wontfix, at least until kdesu supports having terminal output together with password keeping (which I guess is a security risk and thus kdesu won't do that). We need the terminal output because we execute a shell command and need to show the output of that in our messages window.
