Description Jure Repinc 2003-05-31 11:38:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.2)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs

When I installed Mandrake 9.1 I used Slovenian locale and URF-8 encoding for characters as specified in in /etc/sysconfig/i18l. I also created some users which have some special local characters in full name. They appear OK in KUser and other apps inside KDE 3.1.2. but on the login screen where username and full name are shown the full naames with special local characters don't show up correctly. Instead of one local character there are two differenc characters. I would take a screenshot from KDE login screen but I don't know how to do it. If you need any other file or info please say so.

You can see that the full name for users joe and test are displayed OK in
KUser.

no need to, i know how to fix, i'm just busy with more critical things. won't be fixed in the 3.1branch, though - but 3.2 comes soon.
