Agreed.. even if it's not in the menus, it'd be useful to have as an action (to be keyboard assigned) *** Bug 69103 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Created attachment 7435 [details]
against kdebase 3.3
After wainting 2 versions, i finally written a patch.
1. hide/show all statusbars (every tab every view)
2. Autohide (a bit experimental, need to be enabled in config)
statusbar (statusbar visible <=> progressbar visible)
+ a minor patch to select the directory to from which we are returning on
"level-up" (I mean when in /home/miro/xxx then on level up.. eg. in
/home/miro xxx will be selected)
Someone please update the patch! That would be very useful. After an update from Kubuntu Hardy to Intrepid I was suddenly left with a hidden statusbar and it took me a while to figure out it could only be restored by editing the webbrowsing profile file by hand. Please make this an option or shortcut. Does this still affect you? I can see an item in the Settings menu for that in KDE 4.10. I can confirm that this is fixed as of 4.10. |
