You can already schedule an alarm for every weekday at 2 pm, by selecting a weekly recurrence and then selecting each weekday. There is however currently no facility for ignoring holidays, and I have changed the title of the bug to reflect this. In the KDE 3.2 version, you can manually specify exception dates for recurring alarms. So it is possible to exclude holidays if you enter each holiday date. There are plans to provide a holiday plugin as part of the base KDE libraries, and if and when this is done (probably in time for KDE 3.3) I aim to incorporate this into KAlarm to allow automatic exclusion of holidays. This has (at last!) been implemented in SVN revisions 845879, 857926, 883568, and will be in KDE 4.2. It will also be in the next release of KAlarm for KDE 3, version 2.1.0, downloadable from the KAlarm website. |
