More info : display a tooltip anywhere on kicker, move the mouse to the bottom of the screen (kicker is at the default place), then move the mouse to the right and reach the corner of the screen, then move up outside kicker. The tooltip stay displayed. Kicker has a hide button to the left but not to the right. If i try moving the mouse to the left instead of right then the tooltip disappears correclty. |
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1a) Installed from: Gentoo Packages When positionning the mouse on the "move" bar of the system tray, a tooltip appears ("System tray applet handle"). If we move the mouse it disappears correclty. Now, when the tooltip is displayed, if you move the mouse to the bottom of the screen the tooltip displays over icons, then if you move the mouse to the right and up the tooltip does not disappears immediatly. It take 5-10 seconds to disappears. I can also reproduce it on the pager, the taskbar and the weather applet. It's annoying as you can't easily click on the icons when the tooltip is displayed.
