Description axeljaeger 2003-05-02 12:31:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs

I'm currently listening to some music using Noatung with the Young Hickory plugin. It's very usefull, especialy together with a multimedia-keyboard, because I needn't to open the Noatun mainwindow for most tasks. But there is still one task where I can't use Young Hickory or my multimedia-keys: Selecting a special song. I have to open the playlist, select the song and close the playlist again. I think it would be usefull to have a submenu in the Young Hickory menu containung all items of the current playlist. I don't know wether this is possible because of the different playlistplugins of Noatun but I saw this in the Sonique-Mediaplayer for Windows and it was quite useful.

BTW: I think it is not a good idea to have different playlistplugins. I can't see any sense in this option.

You cannot have thousands of items in a popupmenu, that would be slow and hard to navigate.

I really don't think implementing this would be a good idea, therefore I'm closing this bug. Also there have been no further comments or votes, it does not look like there's a big demand for having several thousand items in a popup.
