Can I see one of those files? Also, the gs messages might help if you can post them. Also, would you be able / wanting to test a source code patch? What happened was that the security update may have been too strict and stopped people from viewing files. In the meanwhile, the code has changed internally. Would you be able to test that? regards, luis pedro Subject: Re: most postscript files not displayed W sobota, 19 kwietnia 2003 12:25, Luis Pedro Coelho napisa ditto, same problems here too, on both redhat 7.3 and redhat 8.0, kdegraphics-3.1.1a. Same here, and it is definitely not a gs options problem- I tested the same options with ESP Ghostscript 7.04 and AFPL Ghostscript 8.0 without errors by use gs directly. When viewer it from Kghostview though, it generated an endless stream of errors. I would be willing to test a source code patch. *** Bug 57563 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** See the comments for Bug 57563. On my system test.ps works with 3.1.1, fails with 3.1.1a and is fixed with the patch on Bug 57563. BTW, that patch should be applied with -R because I don't know how to say to cvs that you want your working copy to be rev1 and specify a rev2. FYI, I'll attach a version of the patch that actually works (with no -R). (-: Created attachment 1476 [details]

Are there updated packags underway? This bug is really annoying and I sadly don't have the time to build my own packages. :-( Greetings, Arne |
