./configure don't check a plugin-PATH like/opt/kde3/lib/kde3/plugins/lib64/designer/kdewidgets.la

I assume you mean that you cannot specify the plugin directory specifically?  Anyway, this is a 
bug for the configure folks.  I'll let them close it if they think it's invalid.

as Qt doesn't put plugins in lib64 I don't think configure should check for that
