This supplements bug-report 54940.
It would be nice to have a full featured bookmaring system for kmail, including folders, seperators, an annotations (which is still missing in konqueror, too).
The most simplest form implementing annotations is one text field, that is a good way to start with. In the future there should be a more sophisticated implementation: template (e.g. DUBLIN CORE)  and XML based (including SVG => graphical annotations)

Why did you submit a duplicate wish instead of adding your comments to bug report 54940? 
For your information, the second part of your wish (annotations) is a duplicate of 31650. So 
your wish didn't include anything new (except for the form of the annotations).
