I wish to have a list where a link to every discussion I am involved in is stored. It would be easier than set the filter to "discussions with own articles", and then switch trhu all newsgroups.
Eventually this could be extended to list the discussions which are "watched", too. So the user has an overview over all discussions he might be interested.

I'm interested in such a feature too and just left a comment 
to #138910, which is similar/same.
Can't believe that this wish has been open so long and still unresolved/unrecognized.
Still not present in KDE 3.5.9.
