This web-page comes out good with Opera 6.03
but bad with KDE 3.1.1

Can you explain what isn't being rendered correctly, or provide screenshots of the 
affected areas?

This has apparently already been fixed in the current CVS code. 
 
I see the page in Konqueror more or less like your "Good" attachment. At least there 
are no overlaying of texts.
