Hello, We do not currently support NTLM authorization at all since it is not an open protocol. All the information I have seen on it have been reverse engineered for the purpose of inter-operability. Anyways, you have to enable either Basic or Digest authentication in addition to NTLM authentication for now... Regards, Dawit A. Subject: RE: Will not authorizate when using Windows 2K ISA pr oxy "Proxy Authentication Required" Hi, Thanks, for the quick response. Please can you point me to the appropriate documents to set this up (on SuSE Linux)? Anyways, you have to enable either Basic or Digest authentication in addition to NTLM authentication for now... Regards, Dawit A. *** Bug 56579 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This is not a KDE or even a Linux issue. You can remedy the situation by setting up your proxy server or the web server in general to use a more standard authentication method, like Basic or Digest. As Dawit reported, NTLM is not an open protocol, so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. The way I see it, it would probably require some information obtained from Samba, but I'm only guessing here. If you have code or information in general on how to authenticate against those methods, including any Open Source browser working with them, please contact the developers. For the moment, I'm afraid there's not much we can do. Ok, another one. There is no reason to close as WONTFIX for now, but this one is a duplicate. |
