Description Garth Dahlstrom 2003-03-05 07:12:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

I use my palm pilot to track work and non-work related appointments, at home I just started using KOrganizer.

I think it would be extremely handy if there were a configuration option that made it possible to default meetings
or appointments scheduled for outside business hours to a different value than those booked within working
hours.... A drop down for each 1 for working, 1 for not-working with choices for Public, Private, Confidential
in each would probably keep everyone happy (some people at my work like to hide their calendars - argh!)

For example, booking a meeting from 9-5 on Monday to Friday could default to Public.... booking an
appointment at night or on a weekend could default to Private.

Sometimes I forget to make meetings after hours private and then they show up on my calendar at work
when I sync with outlook... If KOrganizer had this feature I described I could just enter all my after hours activities in it and not have to worry about that problem any more... :)

Or at least a preferences setting to make all new appointments default to private or confidential. Is there already a hidden preference?
