This is indeed weird looking and adds a great deal of inconsistency to the desktop. The system tray is basically my 'ugly duckling' as it just doesn't fit in well with kicker with it's inconsistent icons. Cheers for makeing the system tray rather well integrated though (it's very convienient and useful) but this is still getting my vote for improvement ... *** Bug has been marked as fixed ***. Why is this fixed? The system tray is still incredibly ugly. There is something wrong with how it shows some icons (kopete, kgpg among others) IT seems to take a 16x16 icon and blow it up till it's nice and fuzzy. Also is does not resize. What's the point of having kicker size on small if system tray icons run off the edge? Please, please, please fix this one and for all? It's been the same way for years! Let's make them all 16x16 at least and maybe have a way to change icons since some of these are ugggglllyyy (what's with the amarok small icon???) Sorry for the whinning :) Thanks! Joshua Please add this to KDE. I would love to have smaller Icons in the systray... |
