Version:           1.5.9 (using KDE 3.1.9)
Compiler:          gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB

When KMail is set to "Prefer HTML to Plain Text" and View->Attachments->Hide has been chosen, HTML messages are not rendered as marked-up HTML (the HTML code is shown instead). This is the case even if the message has no attachments.

Thanks for the bug report. This bug has been fixed. The fix will be in 
KDE 3.1.2 (it's already in cvs HEAD).
