Version:           1.5 (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

A toolbar item that will allow me to toggle interval mail checking for all and/or specific accounts would be nice.

Having to exit KMail, or change the configuration settings for all accounts, is not a nice way of doing it ;)

Futhermore, it would be nice if I could tell KMail to disable interval mail checking when the screensaver goes active.

I consider this a very uncommon wish. You want do deactivate intervall mail checking temporarily? Maybe the offline mode is right for you instead of adding a new feature probably cluttering the ui.
