Description Frederick Polgardy 2003-02-25 16:44:02 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 20030131 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.17

It would be nice to have the option of viewing the folder tree, message list, and message body in separate windows, along the lines of Eudora, if you're familiar with that interface. The ability to *not* show any message body unless specifically asked for by double-clicking on a line in the message list would clean up the desktop a bit.

The second part of your wish has been implemented for kmail 1.6 which will be
part of kde 3.2. Having separate top level windows will not happen, for the time
being, but I'm leaving this wish open anyhow.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
