Version:           1.3.3-8 (using KDE KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from:    RedHat RPMs

Using a Monospace - Regular - Size 9 font, doing a "man" on the "tar" (pressing the space bar a few times) command produces undesirable fragments of fonts.

Try a newer Konsole/KDE version.
