The "Edit" pull down menu needs to have a
selection for manipulating a log file in
addition to history file.  A "log" file is
one that contains all the text and is not
limited like the scroll buffer.

I don't understand. What's the difference between a scroll buffer set to unlimited 
length and a log file?
