Version:           1.1.3 (using KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from:    SuSE
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2
OS:          Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-4GB

Tried all methods to close Sax2 Konsole.  Finally had success by clicking on Edit pull-down menu and selecting Send Signal, Kill Task.

No problem with KDE 3.1. "Close Session" closes the sax2 window (and sax2 continues 
to run).
