Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 CXXFLAGS="-march=i686 -pipe -O3"
OS:          Linux

If i mount a cd-rom, open its konqueror window then close it, fam still holds a lock on the directory preventing unmount and eject.

I've posted Bug 54861, may be possible that what you find is related to file 
tips? What happens if you mount the cd-rom and don't go with mouse on the icons 
to show the tooltip?


In my case the cd-rom is locked only when the file in the cd-rom is an avi film 
(divx)
