Description hard edged 2003-02-09 05:57:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2 20020903 (Red Hat Linux 8.0 3.2-7)
OS: Linux

If I launch kaboodle and goto preferences and disable 'start playing automatically' checkbox, then exit kaboodle, then click on a video - mpeg, avi, mov whatever - kaboodle launches. Then I press play and can hear audio but no video is seen at all. No black screen - nothing. It does not even resize like it is attempting to show the video - it looks like it is playing an audio file. Only the audio is played.

Even stranger is if I manually click-drag resize the window to expand where the video is supposed to be still no video - just a 'ghost image' copy (fake duplicate) of the play-stop-etc-controls is left where the video is suppose to be.
