Description Paul Hoepfner-Homme 2003-02-08 19:46:04 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.0)
Installed from: Gentoo
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.19-pre7

When I run make in KDevelop (3.0 - Gideon) with a dark KDE colour scheme, most of the output from make is legible, but whenever there is an error, it is in black, and I cannot read it because the background is very dark as well. I will attach a screenshot to show you what I mean.

Could KDevelop please use colours that are consistent with the KDE colour scheme for the make output (e.g., the standard text colour setting from the colour scheme).

See how the error messages in the make output are not legible because they use
black for the text colour which is very close to the background colour.

thanks for the info, I changed the colors now. If you think you have better
suggestions for the colors, please send them to the mailing-list.

We cannot use the KDE default colors for errors and status messages because the
color-schemes only set the default text color.
