Sorry about the "make sure" thing, Tired after trying to get it to work for hours... Well it's rather clear that many use KDevelop for their SDL projects but have to tackle this anyoing problem of configureing it for KDevelop. The problem has been there since (at least) 1.4 and was thought to be fixed in 2.0 since the appwizard was supposed to support pre-made "plugin choices" IIRC. Got it working using this tutorial: http://www.geekcomix.com/snh/files/docs/sdl-kdev/sdl-kdev-mini-how2.html and not to forget -lSDL has to get passed to ld :) Created attachment 870 [details]
SDL Template for Gideon
Here's what I've made... it should work but I have no chance of confirming
since KDevelop crashes directly aconf etc has been run..
KDevelop and KDE3.1 behaves very strange for me all the time now so I'll need
to rebuild from scratch to be sure it's not an error on my side...
I hope this is enough for someone that is better than me on Templates to check
it out and make small corrections so it gets added in the 3.0 or 3.1 release
The file you posted is corrupt. Please post it again. No it's not. It's a .tar.gz file, it works great from my end here. if you name it gideonsdl.tar.gz and use gunzip gideonsdl.tar.gz tar xvf gideonsdl.tar it should work.. I just downloaded it and opened the files with winrar. Nothing strange on my end Whish granted :) But I still get some errors. Fix them please and submit a patch! As far as I know Ian Reinhardt Geiser looked into it. The last mail I got from him (about a month ago): "Doh sorry ive been waay to busy the last few weeks... ill get right on it and see if i cannot have it finished in the next few days." I'll ask him right now, what the status is... |
