Feature request: log of email retrieval/other kmail activity with timestamps, so that errors can be trapped, and a check of how many messages/when/what size were fetched can be made.

also log mails which were deleted/marked download later on the server by pop 
filters...

Bug 119474 suggests also to log messages whenever they are sent (as in: leave the outbox).
