An integration of knode with kmail would be nice... is this planned for Kontact?

See Bug 74565 for a "sub-idea".
Comment 5 Tristan Miller 2004-06-06 19:36:27 UTC
In particular it would be nice for KMail to be able to CC an e-mail message to newsgroups (or for KNode to be able to CC a newsgroup post to e-mail addresses) without having to open a separate message window. Pine, for example, has this functionality, as its e-mail and Usenet functionalities are rather seamlessly integrated.

If the newsreader stays separate, it has to use at least the same render engine as KMail. Knode lacks support of
- using Ctrl + scrollwheel to adjust fontsize
- drag'n drop of links to Konqueror, Kuickshow, etc...
which is all integrated in Kmail

Kontact integrates KNode.
