The columns in 31-Day mode (representing the weekdays) should be
width-adjustible to allow the user to resize the columns to personal
preference.

A nifty way of implementing this would be to automatically shrink all days to a symbolic view without text when clicking into a specific day. This would than get more room for display of texts and times.

I don't know how korganizer 1.9 was back in the day but I don't see a reason for this in 4.11.
